Alps from above 6 (video)     Sixth flight video from Flying Revue video series Alps from above is here. Today we fly between Lake Geneva and Lake Constance.

Alps froma above 2017, day 2

After refuelling at the airport of Le Versoud next to Grenoble our journey over the Alps took us to Annemasse on the French side of Lake Geneva.

From here then across Geneva Lake to Lausanne, Montreux and through the valley of the River Rhone alongside Bernese Alps up to Lake Constance and over the romantic town and peninsula Lindau to the airport of Friedrichshaven.

The weather was beautiful which was great. Beautiful weather is, however, also attractive for paragliders who can soar very high the tall mountains. They can arrive from anywhere at any instant and with their airspeed and other parameters so different from an aircraft that any inattention could bring real problems.

In that one day we flew over parts of France, Switzerland, Austria and Germany. The miniature country of Lichtenstein can also be added as we photographed its impressive castle on the way. 

The video next week will take you over the fairy tale Bavarian castle of Neuschwenstein and the centre of Munich city.
